Growing up in Madrid, in a family of editors, photographers and journalists, as the seventh child of eight, I have a passion for magazines, for a job well done, and for good humor.

For the last 20+ years I've worked, from California, for hundreds of clients all over the world. I love the whole process of a photo shoot, from brainstorming ideas, through pre-production, problem-solving, photographing, and delivering the final product to the client.

I'm an explorer, looking for beauty, not only in the obvious, but also in our human imperfection and absurdity. Photography occurs to me like meditation, a reminder to be present to the intimacy of life, to laugh at myself, and to think twice before I judge.

I'm also passionate about film, painting, sculpture and writing. I volunteer teaching photography and art to children, and I've written two plays.
