As a photographer, I'm an explorer, looking for beauty, not only in the obvious, but also in our human imperfection and absurdity. Photography for me occurs like meditation, a reminder to be present to the intimacy of life, to laugh at myself, and to think twice before I judge. A Cherokee tale talks of two wolves fighting inside of us: a good one and a bad one. The generous, loving wolf battles the greedy, hating one. Which one wins? Through a series of self-portraits, like the one pictured here, I'm exploring my good wolves and my bad wolves. My vision is for peace, love and understanding. Thank you. |
