Isaac Hernández, born in Spain and based in California, has been working as a photographer and journalist for over 20 years, publishing in hundreds of magazines and newspapers worldwide. His playful approach results in intimate portraits, whether he's photographing Amy Tan, Antonio Banderas, or a wedding. He is the co-founder of Mercury Press International, has directed several documentaries and film shorts, co-produced the EcoHeroes Project about environmental leaders, written four plays (directing three of them), and has won several awards for his paintings, sculptures and photographs. He believes in a good challenge, and continues to explore new ways of self expression.
